About the manager
Innova is a boutique investment management firm offering risk-focused portfolio solutions. Innova Asset Management's investment philosophy
In investing, risk varies for everyone, but the key risk is failing to meet your goals. Innova therefore designs portfolios to align with human behaviour. By setting rational risk limits and following a proven management framework, they avoid chasing returns that involve unjustifiable risks, focusing on data over market hype. The core of their risk management process is understanding that there are inter-dependencies across the various drivers of portfolio risk.
Asset classification alone doesn’t give the full picture. Instead, Innova determine the main drivers of the variability in returns for each asset class (commonly called factors). They look at both short term and long-term forecast returns for these factors, because not all risks are compensated, and they want to ensure they are being adequately compensated for taking on risk in their portfolios.
